LieLow Monster Ball
The night doesn’t end when the cabaret curtain falls.
On October 31, as the veil between worlds grows thin, the LieLow Monsters Ball comes to life! A dark and decadent gathering where the strange, the spirited and the wonderfully unexpected are invited to cross over.
Featuring four very different creatures of the Alberta music scene:
- Horsebreaker - surf, spaghetti western and psychedelic twang
- 36? - wonderfully weird, genre-bending art-rock
- High School Track Meet - dark, driving post-punk with an ’80s heart
- Hey, Mr. Wilson - indie dance DJ spinning acid house & ’90s revival
The LieLow Monsters Ball brings that spirit to the Lougheed Building: a little music festival gathering blended in creative collision and mischief.
It’s the peculiar magic of LieLow’s little village in Milo transplanted into the heart of Fluid Fest where bands, dancing, performance and strange happenings can all occupy the same room.
Come for the cabaret, stay for the bands & dance with the monsters!
